Microsft has awoken my slumbering, well, NAPPING angry video game nerd self. After november, prices for XBL subscriptions because they feel they’re now offering so much more content since it started in 2002. This link » http://bit.ly/90mZY5 « lists some of those features.. And beyond Online Multiplayer, I use NOT-A-ONE of ‘em!! And I only know one person who uses Netflix on a regular. And I know NO ONE who uses Facebook or twitter on their boxes. And the Avatars are nice, but once I maid mine it stayed the same until some Halo themed add-ons became available that I wanted.. And those came WITH a game I already purchased!!
I mean really Microsoft?! These features are nice, but the general public DID NOT ask for them and likely don’t utilize enough of them to justify the price increase. One of the commenters on the Gamepro page exclaimed
Only $10 more per year? With the addition of avatars, I would easily pay $50 more.
and I believe the response nicely sums up my point:
Offer a Premium Gold Membership with the extra features instead of charging the people who just want to play!Then they should be charging you $50 more and let me keep paying $50 for no avatars, no facebook, no netflix and none of the other crap I never use.

Welp, yesterday, I was on my way to pick up my little sister. The broken stop light of Bolivar was steadily wreaking confusion upon the general driving population who’s never driven through a city and seen a flashing yellow. That day however, it became a flashing red and as I approached the in intersection, the drivers around still seemed to be in a confusion… And so was I. Being that I was a little late getting to my sister, and the fact that it seemed that several cars were going through at once, I hesitantly rolled on through. Lo and behold! A cop was in the opposite lane. Smh. He pulled up behind me and well Flashing. Lights Hopefully I’m not the only person who got pulled over in the last two or three days. But at least it was just a verbal warning.
